Aron Csonka, head of the Democratic Community of Hungarians in Vojvodina (VMDK) says he informed the VMSZ why he could not come to the talks on Monday, initiated by the VMSZ. Csonka says that Pasztor is not honest and this is why there will not be joint Hungarian political representation in Vojvodina.
"There were these coalition talks in Subotica these days, I could not come because my car broke down. I informed the VMSZ about this, and Pasztor used this issue for spreading rumours", said Csonka to the Radio Subotica, and also added, the VMDK is open for further talks but only talks that are based on straight negotiaitions and equal positions.
Csonka says he called the VMSZ-office on the phone, so Pasztor - as he has his phone number - could have also called him. Csonka also claims that the time of the talks were changed in the meantime and while Pasztor invited him to the talks, young VMSZ representatives began a negative campaign against him. Csonka says, if there were real willingness to coalition talks this would not happen.
