Hungarian state secretary for national politics called support for Hungarian entrepreneurs in the Carpathian Basin a national interest. Árpád János Potápi said in Bukarest that the aim of the Hungarian Government with the program for supporting Hungarian enterpizes is to give accent and space to success stories and promote successful Hungarian business.
Potápi was present at a business forum organized by the Hungarian Embassy in Bukarest and Hungarian Business Association (MÜE) and he announced that the new program for supporting entrepreneurs will begin in April. There ar 525 million HUF for this purpose in the Hungarian budget. Entrepreneurs younger than 40 years may apply for non-refundable means from 3-6 million HUF. About 100-120 entrepreneurs will get support and they will receive it by the end of summer. Potápi said they support those who have not registered their business yet, but they have an idea and a business plan.
Potápi pointed out that the Hungarian Government did a lot for reuniting Hungarian nation. Now the priority is to keep Hungarians in their homeland, since emigration is growing everywhere in the Carpathian Basin.
He added they support entrepreneurs to make economy in the Carpathian Basin stronger. In Transylvania there is strong economy in Temes and Kolozs municipalities, in the Partium in Nagyvárad and in South-Transylvania in Brassó, but there is not such economic development in Kárpátalja, Vajdaság or Székelyföld.
